What are the Pros and Cons for using RSS Feeds?

Pro ~ RSS Feeds keep your information up to date, as long as you use good site…
Con ~ If you use a RSS to Javascript converter, if the site that converts the feed goes down, you have no information.

RSS Feeds are great but they really bend you over a barrel
